Senior Pastor Terrell and Beverly McCoy

Pastor Terrell McCoy Sr. is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and is married to the former Beverly Garrett of Covington, Louisiana. They have two adult children, Chavvah and Terrell Jr., one son-in-law Pastor Martin Lister, one daughter-in-law Alexandria, and two grandchildren.

Pastor McCoy is a graduate of the University of Louisville (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) and Andrews University Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity).

He has over thirty years in the gospel ministry, pastored in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and New Mexico, and preached the saving gospel of Jesus Christ across the United States and abroad. It has been his joy and privilege to witness many lives changed and saved by the power of the everlasting gospel of Jesus.

Pastor McCoy served as the Executive Secretary for the Southwest Region Conference from 2006 – 2015.

Pastor McCoy has written for the Message Magazine and the Adventist Review.  His first book, Why They Must Go: A Biblical Mandate for Seventh-day Adventist Christian Education, was published in 2011.

One of Pastor McCoy’s favorite Bible texts is Proverbs 3:5, 6.
